In the United Kingdom are up in arms over the issue of identification cards (DNI we have here.) The problems are not caused by the card itself but by the database to be associated.

One of the groups that are against this system, NO2ID , placed the other day in various newspapers an announcement about who has raised hackles.

"Only" 8 people complained regarding this announcement . In the end, the regulator of advertising in the UK found that the ad was not offensive and we could go ahead with the campaign.

That's not the way. Trusting people to react adversely to a government initiative because suddenly shocked by an announcement should not work. In a rational world, would be much more effective a sheet only with text explaining the pros and cons, otherwise, would be acting as if people were moving and were pulsed asshole.

Or maybe, after all, people are moved by impulses. And asshole.
